BOLO

Have you ever been in a strange city and gone for a walk into unfamiliar surroundings? Back about 1990, I was in the Kansas national Guard and we went to Ft Stuart Georgia for annual training. At the end, they gave us a day off to go into Savannah and see the sites. After spending the day wondering the town and hitting a few bars, I decided it was time to head for my hotel. I checked the tourist map, found my location, then the location of my motel. according to the map, the fastest route would be to go east from my present location, then proceed north to the road my hotel was on, then a little farther east. I began walking. It was a pleasant night.
I crossed a boulevard, and right away there were no more street lights. There were people out, I greets some of them, and some greeted me. I found the road north and kept walking. I passed several vehicles that looked like they had been abandoned a long time. Hoods up, motors missing, no tires, you name it. A scene from an apocalyptic movie! I pressed on.
Soon I came to another large boulevard and was back in the land of street lights. There was a cop car across the way. They immediately turned on lights and swerved over blocking my path, and exited the vehicle. Who was I? Where did I come from? the full line of questions. As soon as they were assured I was not some one buying drugs, they asked if I'd seen anyone while walking. When I told them I had, they were amazed I'd made it through alive. I think I must have had an angel accompanying me. The officers informed me they didn't go into that neighborhood alone even in day time, and at night only as a large contingent. It was a no go zone.
I'm a big guy.  Back then I was 6-3 160 lbs. I worked a very physical job that demanded I handle large containers by hand. I could fight and I knew I could handle two three even four opponents.
Dad had taught me there is no such thing as a fair fight. You fight to win, you fight to survive, so you do what you must to overcome whomever is threatening you.

Brett Kavanaugh has been confirmed today. He will ascend to the Supreme court. This has people on the left unhinged. Not that they are ever sane, but right now things are looking bad.
Several people have noted that members of the Anti-freedom/ America Fascists are crowing about targeting conservative members of Congress, conservative Judges, and even the President. They may also decide to target YOU! These lunatics see every one who does not embrace rabid socialism as an enemy. They want their abortuaries, they want their free shit. They don't want to work. They want their immoral life styles and they don't want the Constitution to get in the way.
They also see you as a source of raw materials they might need. Things like money, food, weapons and shelter. Not to mention transportation. Do we think they will walk or ride green apple bikes 1 while they rampage?
I and others have been saying we are already in a civil war. The rhetoric, the animosity, the unwillingness to compromise or accept the will of the voters are all traits that show our society is sharply divided and not likely to mend and accept. That rift is one sided. Conservatives did not riot over Barry from Indonesia and likely would have grudgingly accepted the Slinky as President even if only to get a laugh every time she fell down a flight of stairs.
We don't know what will set the liberals off. We cannot let them rule us by fear. It is important now especially, to maintain 360 degree awareness. Know what you have to do to be safe, do what you have to do to be safe. avoid certain people and places if they pose a threat, keep a weapon as handy as possible at all times whether locked in your car or tucked in your boot holster.
If today's vote does not send them over the edge, it may be something tomorrow or next week. Now is not the time to let your guard down.
BOLO is a term used by the police. It stands for Be On the Look Out. Now more than ever my friends, be on the look out!
1. Green apple bikes is a bike share program. They have a bunch of low cost bike scattered around town for the thugs to ride so they don't have to steal other people's equipment.
