Safe for a little while

The DC court of appeals delt the ObamAA+ administration a blow. The court has blocked the EPA from enforcing new enviromental regulations designed to force older generators off line, a move that would substantially increase the cost of electric power and have no meaningful impact on air quality.
The stay is temporary though, and a trial will be scheduled at a later date. A strong message needs to be sent to ObamAA+ and his communists by congress. The EPA needs to be shut down and eliminated. They did their job. and have spent the last few decades attempting to justify their existence.

Lost a good friend

When I saw Stan last, he was in fine shape. Everything seemed A-OK. That was Christmas Eve. Missed him by minutes on Christmas day as he took a friend home after her hubby took a fall and had to be rushed to the ER.
Got a call this morning, they were on their way to the ER, Stan had chest pains, nothing to worry about. Two hours later they called to say he had passed away. He was a good friend and a Christian man.
Life is short, use it wisely. Good bye Stan.

Trump Obama's parrot?

So the hair brain with nice hair is thinking about a run as an independent. Is the guy an idiot? He says he will make a run if the republicans nominate some one who cannot beat ObamAA+. In other words, He will make sure that some one does not beat ObamAA+.

Whats Christmas?

I'm not big on gifts at Christmas, at least receiving them. I like to give them and to see people enjoy them. Thats what Christmas is about. GOD gave us the greatest gift, his son Jesus. Christmas is about that, redemption through Jesus, eternal life.
One this Christmas, Christians through out the muslim world face persecution. The Arab Spring has brought Winter for those of faith. Jesus said the end time would be one of suffering and persecution. In Europe, and a little here in the USA, muslims are rising up. They are demanding special privledges like Sharia courts. There is no justice in a Sharia court, women have no voice. Under Sharia law, if a woman is raped, it is her word against that of the man, and his word carries more weight, so she is a prostitute, a slut, and risks being stoned for being the victim of a crime. Christians in countries with Sharia law risk beheading or stoning if they try to spread the faith.
I do not know when the end will come, any one who claims he does is a liar. Jesus said there would be signs though, and I believe we are seeing those signs. Israel returned as a nation nearly sixty years ago. Jesus said the generation that say the return of israel would see the tribulation, a terrifying thought. Imagine the evil and darkness of The wars that are raging in Libya, Afghanistan, and other places spreading. Imagine the famine of Ethiopia encompassing the world. Imagine the horrors of the earthquake devastation that hit Japan on a world wide scale. Now imagine that was only the beginning. That time may be twenty years away, or it could all start tomorrow, we do not know. It is up to us though to fight evil when we encounter it whether it is muslims killing Christians in Africa, or drug addicts robbing neighbors in Kansas. Evil only wins when good people do nothing.
So today, resolve to be not merely a good person, but a great one. Let this Christmas be a time of reflection, see the world for what it should be, and resolve to do your part to make that better world we want for our children and grand children. It starts with faith. Have that faith.

Merry Christmas one and all.

The Grinch best beware.

Santas on his way?

Pity, you all should have listened to Piano Girl. Maybe now you can enjoy the season for its real reason.

Can we get this idiot impeached?

G Murray Snow is a moron. This man does not belong on a federal bench unless it is a park bench, and he has no where else to sleep.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been enforcing the laws around Phoenix for quite a few years. Phoenix has a serious problem with illegals and drugs flowing up from Mexico. Illegals sued Arpaio for stops they claim are racial profiling. High Idiot Snow has ruled that Arpaio and his deputies cannot detain illegals, that they cannot demand proof of legal resident status. Apparently, he is another open borders worthless fuck who needs to be in private practice that does not include law. Congress should impeach him, the Senate should convict him, and he needs to face retribution in the form of jail time for his actions lending comfort and aid to law breakers.

Mexico City dump closing

They claim its recycling. I think its because they all either fled the drug wars or were killed in the violence.
Seriously, I agree with recycling as long as it saves money. Its a fools mission if it costs more to recycle then to just dump stuff and manufacture more. Recycle aluminum? Sure, its high value. Recycle glass? What ocean has a shortage of sand? Paper, wood, even plastic would be better being incinerated, and the BTUs produced used to produce electricity.
Mexico City can send their spare trash trucks to LA. All the smart ones headed for a sanctuary city.

Amazing

How do we describle this? people in Syria hate Obama. I though he was going to be the greatest leader the world had ever seen. He was going to restore our standing in the world. He failed, we all know it. Under his watch, a secular leader in a muslim nation, Egypt, was deposed and an islamist group ala Iran is set to take over. Lybia has gone from a secular muslim crackpot to an islamist regime. Not much of a change? at least Kadaffy was afraid of us when Bush was in office.
Today ObamAA+ antagonizes our friends and kisses up to our enemies. We didn't have much for choices in 2008. Hillary would have been almost as bad as ObamAA+ on foreign affairs, we would still be stuck with the obamanation care deal, and she would have sucked up to China even more. McInsane was a RINO at best. Some times I think that is a compliment to call him one.

Bad Stuff

Discovery just launched their series Moonshine. Looks to be an interesting piece showing both sides of the illegal liquor debate. The series will follow several moonshiners and an Alcohol Beverage Control agent. From my perspective it shines a favorable light on shiners.
This article highlights the extreme danger of moonshine. done wrong, the stuff can kill. Reading the article, and knowing what I know about shine, I cannot help but wonder if it was methanol add to the brew, or that they failed to drain off the methanol that occurs naturally in the mix. Shiners throw away the first few gallons of the run because it is nearly pure methanol.
Keep in mind, if you ever get a sample of hooch, it lacks quality control measures that store bought liquor has. We haven't had any bad accidents in recent years, but it only takes one bad batch to murder a lot of folks.

23 years

Twenty three years ago today my third child was born. We had taken the girls out to our new house to decorate the Christmas tree. As we were working on it, my wife began to have cramps. She excused herself to the bathroom, and when she returned announced that we needed to head back to town.

On the way, she experienced the first labor pains. We had previously made plans with friends to baby sit the girls when the need arose. As we drove, I asked, Hospital, or Toms? The choice was obvious, it was the hospital. Because of that, the girls were able to see their brother when he was only a few minutes old.

Unknown to us, Steven was a frank breach, a difficult delivery for any doctor, and ours was on vacation. Instead, the hospital summoned the closest Ob, but quickly amended it to an old fellow with a ton of experience when they realized that Steven would be entering the world backwards.

The doctor arrived minutes later in his house coat, pajama bottoms, one sock, and slippers. When the nurses said rush, he knew they meant it. As soon as Steven was present and accounted for, the nurse rushed him across to the nursery and they began administering oxygen. He had been stuck for a minute or what seemed like hours. The girls actually got to see him before his mother did.

Thus began the week of craziness, Steven was born, we moved, and celebrated Christmas in one swift week.

So, heres wishing you a great and wonderful birthday son. Enjoy and savor every second of it.

Lipstick in Catholic School

(You have to love this principal)

According to a news report, a certain private Catholic school was recently faced with a unique problem. A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine provided it was of a natural or neutral skin tone, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.
Every night the maintenance man would remove them and the next day the girls would put them back.
Finally the principal, Sister Mary, decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a
major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses).
To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, Sister Mary asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.
Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

There are teachers..... And then there are educators!!!

Mitt or Newt

The republican field has been winnowed fast. While a number of potential contenders are still in the race, it is shaping up to be a choice between Romney or Gingrich. Perry has dropped to a distant 95th or there bouts, Cain is out, Palin opted to not run. That leaves Mitt and newt as the only serious contenders in the race.
Of the two, Romney has the best chance of winning. he is a likable person, and a gifted speaker. I'm still not sold on the guy, he has an albatross called masscarelessness hanging around his neck. he can work with democrats, but the way things look now, there won't be enough of them left to matter in 2013.  George W Bush also had a reputation for being able to work with democrats. The problem for him was that the dems in Washington won't work with anybody. Mitt may not have to worry about that until his second term, assuming that the republicans act like typical politicians and let power go to their heads.
Newt has some leadership qualities I like. He balanced the budget when he was speaker. The prosperity of the Clinton era was forced upon Bill by none other then the Grinch. he has his albatross as well, divorces. Those will hurt him worse then anything else because false stories persist about them. he has a wandering dick ala Worthless Willie. Liberal feminists who gladly gave Bill a pass and a pat will be out in force against Newt. People need to remember though, Clinton was not impeached for getting a blow job, he was impeached for perjury in  the depositions about his actions. I also don't know of any women whom Newt forced himself on as Clinton did Kathleen Willie, but that will be ignored by the feministas as well.
A brief aside, I don't hold Bills actions in having affairs against him, nor do I fault Hillary for standing by him when most wives would pack and call a liar err lawyer. They had rules for their relationship, and it is between them. I would have a lot more respect for Hillary if she had simply stood up and told every one, yes he has cheated on me, no it is not any of your business, so shut up, pack up, and get a life of your own. Other presidents have had affairs, notably JFK. When it is consensual sex, it is only the publics problem if the wife tries to kill him for it.
Back to Newt. his dealings with fannie mae and freddie mac are an issue for me. They were largely democrat crime sprees, protected by Bwahney Fwank and a few of his cohorts, but his involvement is not a good thing. They were a large part of our problems here at home. The housing bubble has hurt every one in this country. Expect more problems to surface from it once the dems are out of power, especially if the republicans get a super majority. An investigation may stir a hornets nest.
Either man has a good chance of beating Obama. The question will be which has the bigger October surprise in store. The propaganda arm of the democrat party will have something. They have learned from past mistakes, it won't be another TANG memo.

Way to go Lowes!

It appears that home improvement retailer Lowes has decided to brave the firestorm for pulling advertising from "All American Terrorist muslim", a show about five families living in Michigan. the religion of peace will have to go a long way to convince me they deserve any kind of favorable recognition. They are the only religious group that advocates terrorist attacks on innocent bystanders. Ireland had a long war that pitted protestants against Catholics, but it was fueled over independence desires for North Ireland, not merely religion. And the boundaries were not clearly cut along religious lines. With Muslims, its another story. Muslims in Western Europe were largely quiet and appeared peaceful until they had enough strength in numbers they felt they could start stirring trouble. The violence there is ongoing. Belgium suffered a terror attack last week that killed or injured more then 125 people.
Numerous investigations have been conducted into financing schemes here in the United States where muslims have funneled money to Hamas and other terror organizations. Sadly, the feds have remained largely silent. CAIR, the council of American islamic relations should have been prosecuted to the fullest, and every member who was not a US citizen should have been deported. Instead, the government decided to cave to Saudi Arabia and did not throw the book at them.
Yup, its all about oil. Scream all you want lefties, you could do a real part in making us energy independent and encourage California to open its coast for drilling. If they had done that ten years ago, they would not be teetering on the verge of insolvency.
As for the sick perversion of a cult called islam, It should be banned in this country. Its not in my opinion a religion, its a cult. The US has cracked down on the FLDS group because they promote plural marriage. Islam is the same. Islam also promotes forced marriage, marriage of young and even prepubescent girls, and once married, in most cases, they are trapped. A muslim man can divorce his wife under their perverted law called sharia, but a woman cannot divorce her husband. Islam is far worse then the worst cult that skews the Christian faith. they make Jim Jones seem sane. How many religious groups treat women the way islam treats them?
So, if there is a Lowes store near you, support them. I guess I'll be driving to Topeka soon.

We'll be back

As the flags come down and the last troops depart Iraq, I get an unsettling feeling that this is not the end, but only an interlude. After WW1 allied troops remained a short time, and then departed for home. Much fanfare was made as our troops marched in victory through New York, then quietly went to their homes and lives. Meanwhile, in Germany, hate simmered.
We had established a government, Wiemar to lead Germany on a path of peace. That peace lasted less then fifteen years. Unrest was the norm, The Germans did not know how to govern themselves, and soon a dictator rose, a man who would bring a great cloud of darkness to Europe and much of the world.
We did a better job after WW2. We stuck in there for a decade, then another one, then another. In fact, we are still very much there. Germany will likely never again be a dark cloud over Europe. Today they are leaders and seek peace. It took a generation and then some to create a free nation that will remain a beacon for years to come.
Another example is the Balkans, This time though, its a bad example. After the death of Tito, and the decline of Soviet influence, the people of Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia returned to the conflicts which fueled the first world war. It became necessary for the nations of Europe and  America to intervene and impose a peace process. It is shaky at best.
Iraq is propped up. they have a government in place, elections were held, but their problems are far from over. Terrorism still reigns. In Germany, terror attacks did not cease until the late 80's. Iraq has much to deal with. They are surrounded by nations that wish them ill. Iran and Syria are state sponsors of terrorism. democracy is a fledgling idea in the sea of islamic hate and sharia law. The Iraqi government has its work cut out. Can they succeed? I doubt it.
The two dominant strains of islam in Iraq are the sunni and shiite. The sunni are a minority no longer in power. the shiites are dominant in Iran where any idea of democracy are quickly squelched by the ruling imams. I do not see them remaining a democratic people for long.
My guess is six to eight years. The Russians have been experiencing democracy in some form for nearly twenty years, yet they too are at risk of back sliding. Iraq may well return to a dictatorial power and relations with Iran will falter. Wedged as they are between two terrorist regimens, they will not be allowed to grow in peace.
Unless Iran is attacked by either the US or Israel, they will stir problems for Iraq. This aint gonna be purdy.

Now we know why

We've known it for decades, hippies stink. Now we know why they stink, and its more then just their politics and a lack of hygiene. They really are diseased.
So next time you are stuck in an elevator with a smelly hippie, don't offer them a bar of soap or a can of Raid Right Guard, point them in the direction of the local health clinic for their shot of penicillin.

Not a terror attack?

Don't give me that bullshit! Nordine Amrani was a muslim who had been convicted in 2008 of weapons and drug charges. He was supposedly the weapons expert for an unnamed gang. After he was summoned to police headquarters to be interviewed, he responded by taking grenades and an assault rifle and killing holiday shoppers.

None of his victims had ever interacted with him, he was not an angry husband killing his ex-wife and her family, he was not a fired employee getting back at his bosses and going on a killing spree. For those of you who might misconstrue, those are examples of murder rampages that are not terrorism even though their victims certainly are terrorized by the attack.

Amrani used hand grenades, and an assault rifle. He was trying for the most casualties possible. Four people are dead, another 122 or more wounded, and the Belgians say "Authorities said the shooter also died, but they were at a loss to explain the reason for the onslaught. The prime minister said it was not related to terrorism." I say bullshit. The man was a muslim, he attacked people at random, he did not know or work with any of his victims, how can that not be a terror attack. The religion of peace blew a lot of people to pieces.

At a minimum, the Belgians should level the mosque he attended. Every member of that mosque should be dunked in a vat of pig blood, and the imam should be wrapped in a pig carcass and executed. To hell with playing nicey nice with these scum. The world needs to quit accommodating them. If they want to live like muslims under sharia law, they should be confined to the Arabian peninsula and Iran.

Dooschbag!

Yes, I know, in today's world, I could be talking about anyone from ObamAA+ to Mike Vick. Tonight though, I am referring to Hollyweirds hemorrhoid, Alec Baldwin.

It was bad enough that the self absorbed piece of shit thought he had a right to continue playing on his phone, or was he talking, when everyone was told to turn the damn things off. It was worse yet that he made a spectacle of himself by having to be ejected from the flight.

Now, to prove he has zero class, the turd with a neck goes on SNL and does a skit in which he plays a pilot and apologizes to himself. What a work of artlessness! Its too bad I do not watch Saturday Night Live, because my refusal to do so from now on will have no effect on them.

What has that show accomplished anyway? Libtards everywhere firmly believe that Sarah Palin uttered the foolish words "I can see Russia from my back yard" and not Tina Fey. Their political success, Al Freakin err Franken is the lowest bottom feeder in the senate. Now they top it all with this. He should be put on a no fly list.

Did Iran steal our drone?

As more news filters out on the disappearance and downing of a US RQ-170 drone inside Iran, it is becoming clear that this is a case of high tech hijacking. Iranian operatives admit they hacked into the control frequency and took control, the only remaining question is whether the drone was in Afghan or Iranian airspace at the time.
Either way, the lack of response by the ditherer in cheap is an on going disaster for the US military. Iran is now tearing the machine apart and learning the secret mechanics and software of this important piece of military hardware.
We should have had a stealth bomber in the air as soon as it was missing to destroy the air craft. It should not have mattered where it went lost, only that it was lost. Thanks to Carter's incompetence, Iran has one more tool in their efforts to wage war on free people every where. OK, make that Carturd Jr.

Why Osawatomie.Kansas

ObamAA+ comes to a red state deep in the middle of fly over country to give a speach. Into a state that flipped from his Abortion loving coyote Sebelius and that crowd to a solid republican government. That would make any one ask, Why?
This might be the answer, I googled Osawatomie, and once I got past the garbage about the liar in cheaps visit, I found this nugget.
Osawatomie State Hospital and Rainbow Mental Health Facility provide services to adults diagnosed with psychiatric disorders regardless of ability to pay or legal status.

So was the worthless fuck here for treatment, or just visiting family?

They need the help

Seems a poor couple in Seattle just got caught by the feds. The couple who receive $1200 a month or more in assistance live in a million dollar mansion. They have traveled to Turkey and Israel while collecting welfare. They need our help. Would twelve volunteers please step forward and form a jury to convict them? And please, order them to repay every last dime they collected along with interest and penalties.

I am opposed to welfare, and disability. Very few people are totally useless as far as an ability to perform some service. Nearly every one can be retrained for some job skill, but even if they cannot be, they are only the governments responsibility if they were hurt while working for the government either as a soldier, or a federal employee. Volunteers shouldn't count, nor should people hurt while on government managed lands. No body is responsible for you except you, and maybe your daddy. Oh, you have no clue who that is? Not my problem, ask your mommy if she knows.

Now we know

Yahoo. news has a site more worthless then google, its Who new. Their drivel this time is about Rachel Carson, the woman responsible for the deaths of millions thanks to her crap novel "Silent Spring". Who new was crowing about how the EPA turned 41. whoopdi doo. They outlived any usefulness thirty years ago. In fact, they should be in jail with Rachel for manslaughter for the evil they have sown. Yes, they have done some good, but I fail to see where the scales tip in their favor or even budge from the effects of world wide slaughter of millions of poor thanks to the ban of DDT.
The EPA was formed in 1970, and control of pestacides was effectively transfered in 1971. In 1972, after seven months of testimony, presiding Judge Edmund Sweeney stated that “DDT is not a carcinogenic hazard to man". Two months later, William Ruckelshaus, a man who had not attended even one day of the hearings banned DDT. The EPA has continued that standard to this day, causing far more harm then good.
Rachel Carson died in 1964 from breast cancer which she blamed on DDT. May she rot in hell. She lied, she helped spread unscientific conclusions which she knew were based on fraud.
Congress owes us an explanation. They should conduct hearings into this travesty. DDT was replaced by chemicals which were less efective, and in some cases were actually harmful to humans and animals. They should mark the 41st mirthday of the EPA by reinstating DDT, and moving it out of the control of the EPA, the neliminate the EPA.

OWS gets down to business

Manhattan has experienced a string of robberies. That ended with the arrest of Mark Wyche. Wyche, a former college student is charged with three robberies that included two bank jobs. Well, no surprise, The OWS crowd want to stick it to the banks by getting their loans for useless degrees forgiven. Is it the banks fault that there is no demand for folks with PhD's in puppetry? As for Wyche, he is going to get a little federal time for his withdrawals. Hope he enjoys the three hots and a cot.
I've seen a number of posted bills for the OWS manhattan crowd. I've been correcting their misstatements for them. I put a decimal point between the nines. Maybe thats giving them more credit than they deserve.

Jeff Dunham the early years?

I'm a Jeff Dunham fan. From Achmed to Bubba J, he pokes fun at every aspect of identity motivated people.
There is a story I heard though about his early days. I cannot confirm that it is true, but here goes.
Seems Jeff was scheduled to play a show in New Mexico. When the show bombed, He was stuck with out even so much as the money for a bus ticket home. Being young and enterprising though, he set off on foot for his parents home in Texas.
As he trudged across the south west, he happened to see a lone Indian on a horse tending a flock of sheep. Jeff decided to try his skills ,and maybe score at least a meal and a place to spend the night. He approached the herder, and after a few minutes of small talk, Jeff observed, "That's a sharp looking horse you have there, can he talk?"
Replied the Indian, "Horse no talk, horses no can speak..."
But Jeff continued, "hey there hoss, how's life? This here fella treat you good?"
And dang if the horse didn't reply, "Well sure, he treats me really well. He gives me a little grain every night, rubs me down regular, I have a nice corral to call home, and always plenty o grass to nibble on."
Well, the Indian sat there flabbergasted.
Jeff turned to the dog and said, " What about you, can you talk? Hows this old Indian treat you?"
The Indian said, "Dog no talk, dog no learn to speak..."
But just t that moment the dog rasped out, "Oh, this Indian treats me bad. he only gives me scraps from his dinner, throws stuff at me constantly, makes me run all day keeping the sheep. Its a terrible life, but I guess its better then being a stray."
The poor Indian was dumbfounded.
Jeff then asked, "What about the sheep? Can any of them talk?"
The Indian replied, "Sheep no talk, sheep no can... Sheep lie, sheep lie."

The Indian that told me this swears it true, everything but what the sheep said.

Only the Vikings.

Minnesota has sunk beyond low. They are doing things I never thought possible in football. First, Percy Harvin runs 104 yards and does not score. That alone is a shocker. To make matters worse, the vikings then fail to turn the best possible field position into a score.
They are the ultimate liberals of sports. They can take gold and turn it into turds. Heck, ObamAA+ must take lessons from these guys. A mishash of tallent but no leadership. A good look and zero net output. Million dollar babies, chump change results. These guys are the poster for what is wrong in our country.

Women are to be seen and not heard

At least that seems to be the message from the Dallas Cowboys head office. Cheerleader Melissa Kellerman got mowed down by tight end Jason Witten. Afterward she sent out several tweets letting her fans know in a humerous way that she was all right. She appears to be a classy lady. Dallas Cowboys owners on the other hand are not. They made her pull the plug on her twitter account.
So lets learn from this, if you agree that women are to be seen and not heard, show your support for the Cowboys. The rest of us want em to put thier little boy britches away and start acting like men and treat the women with the respect they deserve, having earned it. At this rate, I'll be cheering for the Eagles and ass clown Prick err Vick. Maybe I'll just leave the set off on the 24th.

Obama buddy sentenced

Tony Rezco has been sentenced to ten years in jail less time served on several corruption charges relating to the attempted sale of the senate seat vacated by ObamAA+. Not a peep from the media. Its not on the Yahoo front page, nor anywhere in their political section. Who says the media aint water carriers for the communists?
Does this resemble the White Water mess from Clintons days in office? Even now the media is not giving it the coverage it deserved, they still down play it. I guess corruption is only news when its a republican, with the dems its part of their resume.

Dumb ass judge gets it wrong

I don't think U.S. District Judge Kathryn Vratil has ever heard of the Constitution. She is damn sure clueless about what it says regarding searches and seizures. The federal government has made possession of large amounts of cash illegal in their war on drugs and war on terror. In doing so they violate the Constitution and the trust of the American people.
I have no doubt that the money seized from Eduardo Arencibia came from drugs or some other less then reputable source, the problem is there is no proof. We are supposedly a nation of laws with a Constitution as the supreme law of the land. Vratil chose to ignore that fact and issues summary judgement in favor of Barta and law enforcement run amok. Its time to take back our nation. We need to vote out crappy self serving politicians and install ones who will uphold the constitution, men and women who will impeach bad judges and send them packing. The Politicians we have now are owned by too many groups who serve themselves, not the people.
That's why I want people like Herman Cain or Sarah Palin over career politicians like Mitt Romney or even Newt Gingrich.

First Bitch booed

Out of respect for ObamAA+'s witch err wife, I capitalized the B, just so you know. Ain't it ironic? Miami is liberal lala land for Florida. It should be a haven for the wife of the worst president ever, but we are talking NASCAR fans, people who are proud of their country at any given moment of any given day of every week, not once in their lives. OK, some of the die hards are only proud of their country once, but it lasts 92 years and 22,000 gallons of prime Jack Daniels.
NASCAR fans are the heart of what America really is, independent spirits, devoted to GOD, family and country. They don't go for willy nilly politicians, and they dang sure don't like corrupt ones.
Blackie O was a fool if she thought she would get even a luke warm reception. She has earned the derision, I hope she is proud of that fact.
Is anybody shocked that the wounded vet who was with her got resounding applause? I'm not, True Americans are proud of their sons and daughters who serve, and would shake the hand of their worst enemy's son if he was a vet. Maybe the bitch should enlist and serve her country for a few years instead of milking her status as the worst lady. Maybe then people would think a little better of her. Until then, she can trot her fat ass back to Martha's Vineyard and the bastions of the Kennedy dynasty. Or is that Die Nasty? Ted the swimmer died an unrepentant murderer.

Justice for Matthew

Brandon Wilson beat the executioner. He hung himself in his death row cell. Good Riddence! Bleeding heart losers claim that we must protect those who are in the custody of the state. I say bull shit. Brandon put himself through a worse death then the state was proposing to. He only eliminated the cruel lengthy stay in a tiny cell that was to be his home for another thirty years. Mexifornia has a huge death row population. Bleeding heart loser judges keep the number of executions at a snails pace. Since the death penalty was reinstated. California has executed just thirteen scum bags. Ninteen took the express lane, and a whopping 54 died of natural causes. Crap! If they are going to die from natural causes, lets make it a real natural one, a hungery mountain lion or rabid coyote. California taxpayers house 719 pieces of shit and pay for their endless pile of appeals.
Equip every cell with a sturdy eye bolt. Give every prisoner a stout belt. Suicide watch should consist of a pile of video cameras, and plenty of popcorn peanuts and beer for the observers. Record it all for the families of the victims, then play music, no, blare music that would drive them to end their lives.

Older not wiser.

People are supposed to get smarter with age, but that clearly is not the case with Dorli Rainey an activist agitator from the Seattle area. 84 years old, 4 ft 10, and she thought she could get away with anything because she is old and looks frail? I'm glad the cops sprayed her. better that then attempting to manhandle her and risking injury to her, or tazing her into a heart attack. The woman deserves something for her efforts though. maybe Denny can put her up for AOTW.
The OWS crowd are low life trash. Whinny kids who got degrees in uselessness and are complaining that the bankers who paid for it want their money repaid just like every other student does.

I have done the unforgivable

Sigh. After living in Kansas for twenty nine years and eleven months, I today, cheered for Nebraska.
I know that in Mildcat territory this is considered a capital offense, Yet after years of cheering for Paterno's team, I can no longer applaud the nitwit lions. Glad the deserters won.
For Jerry Sandusky, lets hope the move from Penn State to State Pen is swift, his tenure is long, and his punishment fitting.

Balls

1. The sport of choice for the urban poor is BASKETBALL.

2 The sport of choice for maintenance level employees is BOWLING.

3 The sport of choice for front-line workers is FOOTBALL.

4 The sport of choice for supervisors is BASEBALL.

5 The sport of choice for middle management is TENNIS.

And....

6 The sport of choice for corporate executives and officers is GOLF.
THE AMAZING CONCLUSION:
The higher you go in the corporate structure, the smaller your balls become.

There must be a ton of people in Washington playing MARBLES!

My conclusion? The folks in Washington all LOST their marbles.

Paterno Fired

The uberlong term coach of the Nittany Lions has been terminated due to the child molestation scandal that is shaking Penn State like a Malasian earth quake. Expect to see a great college football program in ruins because he chose to look the other way. The lives of countless young boys have been ruined by this. Molestation is called the crime of the centuries because so many of the victims go on to become perpetrators of it as well. The Pashtun culture, in fact a lot of islam is riddled with child molesters. We have sick groups like NAMBLA advocating for molesters rights. As the nation moves toward acceptance of homosexuality, and granting them rights, the child molesters are knocking on the door demanding their fair shake. Sickos at at least one Occupy rally were demanding rights for beastiality, another sickness.
As for Joe, the board was kind when they terminated him, he should have lost his retirement, and the bust of him that adorns the university stadium should be crushed. He should be prosecuted for his silence. He was informed, he knew what was happening, yet he turned a blind eye. He is as guilty as the molester.

Now its off the scale

It looks like another TANG memo sort of thing. AP now reports that one of the accusers who settled with Cain when he was at the NRA later filed complaints at her next job with immigration. Given the size of her settlement, a mere $45,000, her later filing a similar complaint at her next job, and the whole feel of this, it looks like some one is deathly afraid of a black GOP candidate. Whether that is establishment republicans or ObamAA+ remains to be seen. Probably a combination of the two, dems fear true conservatives. They want another McRino for our candidate.
Much more of this, and I'll need a new Bull Shit meter.

My Bull Shit meter is pegged

It may well turn out that Cain is indeed a sexual predator, but I want proof. Gloria All(commie)red is the liar err lawyer for Ms Bialek. Now I read this. I want proof or the LSM can just STFU. When they report on ObamAA+ with half the intensity they expend on conservatives, I will pay attention to them.
There is a story from the Vietnam war about a commander who was due for an Officer Evaluation Report. he had been a fine commander, but as his supperior was in the process of making the report, word arrived that he might have been involved in an atroscity akin to Mi Lai. The evaluating officer when to his Co for advice, it went something like this;
Col "what kind of Officer is he?"
Maj "Very efficient."
Col "Then make the report that he is a very efficient officer."
Maj "But what if the reports that he murdered civilians is true?"
Col "Then we will report him next time as having been a very efficeint killer."

The media has expended a lot of effort, and all their credibility lynching conservatives. They seem some how blind to the fact that communist regimes tend to hang the teachers and imprison the reporters.

Ron Paul wins Illinois Straw Poll

With 52% of the vote, it looks like Ron Paul may be a serious contender after all. Until you look at the break down, 8% of those cast in person, and 66.5 of those on the internet. Paulinians are still up to their same old steaming bag of dog shit. These people are lower then the OWS crowd. more likely, they are part of them. To vote, all that was needed was a $5 contribution. My bet is that a big chunk of the internet vote will be fake credit card data. I seem to remember that happening a time or two before.
Ron has a few good ideas, he would make a great chairman of the fed, or Secretary of the Treasury. We cannot take him seriously though when his followers game so many on line polls.
Romney won 35%, and Cain won 29% of the in person votes. What needs to be done is scrap all the on line Paul votes, then analize the data. The sexual harassment suit hanging over Cain is hurting him. It needs a full public airing so folks can see whether or not he is Bill Clinton lite. My bet is the suit is a bunch of bullshit, and we need to move forward and leave it to rot in the ditch. If it is real, a full airing will help voters decide. people make mistakes. Much of what Clinton did is in the who cares catergory, Its the ones who claim it was unwanted from the gitgo I care about, not the Monica's. Seriously, with a wife like Hildabeast, who can blame the poor guy?

Concealed Carry on the rise in Topeka

The Crap Journal reports an increase in concealede carry applications for the year.
The journal notes: Sheriff’s Sgt. Todd Good said some applicants have mentioned home invasions or being victims of crimes as reasons for their decision to apply for concealed-carry permits. However, he said he doesn’t know if that is the reason for such a large increase.
“Obiously they don’t need a permit to have a gun in their home, but I’m not sure if they realize that or not,” he said
.
What Sgt Good misses is that a gun on the night stand is of little use when you walk in on thugs in your living room. I would much rather the gun be with me then at home where they can grab it.

Adding insult

Just shocking! Some of the traders at the Chicago Board of Trade decided to have a little fun with the homeless Occupying their side walks. They dumped employment applications on them. The applications were for McDonald's. I'm sure most of you recall that McDonald's had a hiring day a few months ago and added more jobs then the stimuless has. You can bet your bottom dollar that the geeks and freaks of Occupy have already filled one out. And been rejected.
Guys, that was mean. Some one could get hurt like that. I know my sides are still aching from laughing at it. Bet I'm not the only one.

Muslims at it again in France

Well, I am just shocked! A French magazine mocked the pedophile Mohammed, and their office burned to the ground. Amazing coincidence! or not. The scum bags of that sick cult known as islam are intolerant, therefore we also should be intolerant.
We need to quit molly coddling them, if they break the law, no Halal meals, force feed em pork, and if they murder some one, wrap their sorry ass in a pigs carcass and shoot em.
islam is not a religion, it is a sick perverted cult. I have more respect for Jim Jones' followers, or the heavens gate bunch then I do for any muslim. If ever a sorry bunch needed to be removed from the face of the planet, islam is it.

feeling sorry for the OWSers

Saw one today that touched my heart. Poor girl has her degree in womens studies, and can't find a job. To top it off, she wouldn't be able to make it as the night deposit box at a sperm bank. Almost wasted a tear on her.

Bigfoot: The Definitive Guide

A team of top scientists come together with one goal to create the definitive guide to Bigfoot. Does the creature exist? And if it does where is it? In the White House? And how can it survive without being detected? She shaved? The media has been covering for them since Barry decided to run steal the election. Using a new interactive map the team has plotted more than 10,000 Bigfoot type sightings from around the world. Not suprising, this is another smoke screen, not one report about her trips to Spain or Chicago, or Martha's Vineyard. These sightings are of an unidentified creature which walks on two legs and is covered in a thick layer of hair. Many of theses sightings date back over 100 years. With their expert knowledge of the natural world they are able to dismiss nearly 90% of the sightings, but what emerges is a series of global hotspots that cannot be explained which indicate that something is out there. The team examines these global hotspots and searches for explanations including new theories that suggest we may have been looking for the wrong creature all along?

Bottom line, they did not visit the White House or show pics of Blackie O at all...... Thank GOD!

Redneck dream car

When most people conjure up an image of a redneck and his vehicle, the vehicle is most often a truck. A BIG truck. One with four wheel drive, tires that could do justice to a Steiger farm tractor, exhaust that rivals a band of Hells Angels for symphony, and gas mileage that would be the envy of an Abrams tank.
Rednecks though love cars as well. anything with muscle, style, and a little flare. My favorite over the years has been the Ford Mustang. Sadly, few of the original ponies remain. Rust and hard roads have turned all but a few of the original 64 1/2 through 66 beauties into scrap. The remaining few are in the hands of collectors who prize them like gold.
Dynacom Corp though has just announced the return of the classic Ford! For a mere $15,000, one can purchase a brand new Ford Mustang convertible body ready for motor, axles, and interior. For those of you who are still clinging to the dream, here is your chance.

Job possibilities for the OWS crowd

I have a few suggestions, four to be exact, but I fear the OWS crowd are too cowardly for the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marines. Too bad for them, guaranteed, three hots and a cot, plus the Marines and Army can assure them of living conditions close to what they have now on a regular basis, and the big plus is they could get paid for it. I say could not would because as fucked up as they are, they would probably be forfeiting half their wages on a regular basis.
Hope the idiot vet in Oakland recovers, I would hate for some cops to have his useless ass on their conscience.

Never mess with the man who owns but one gun

I've included a pic from my collection. Near to far they are a Mossberg 800 in .243, an Eddystone M-1917 30-06, an M1A 308, a Bushmaster Carbon 15 pistol and a Marlin Glennfield 75C .22 which I modified myself back in 1986.

Paraphrased, the saying goes never mess with a man who owns but one gun, chances are he knows exactly how to use it. Those who have read my blog know by now that I own quite a few more then just one. Its no secret. I began collecting when I was sixteen, and gun smithing when I was twenty two. It is by no means a profession for me, but rather a serious hobby dedicated to freedom.

In the wars that were waged in the early part of the twentieth century, the arms of the soldier were bolt action repeater rifles. Some machine guns were in use, but for the man in the trench, his beloved was a bolt action Enfield, Mauser, or Springfield. Accuracy mattered. The second shot required actions that made follow up placement difficult. As history marched on, newer weapons replaced accuracy with volume. By Vietnam, thousands of rounds were being fired for every enemy killed. Men like Carlos Hathcock reintroduced the art of the single shot kill. Snipers were long a dirty word, and in many conflicts, a sniper captured by the enemy was assured a horrible death. The idea of a hunter of man on an urban field was unfair to many.

A lot of debates are afire these days regarding guns. While the looming threat of congressional action to reinstate the various bans and forge new ones has dimmed with Heller, the dangers we face as a society are no less real. Recent events through out the world have shown that we live in times that are far from stable. Unrest in several nations has toppled governments, and while unrest here in the United States does not yet threaten our republic, it is present and growing. Now is not the time to be unarmed. What to buy, what to buy what to buy. The question is enormous. If you have limited funds as many of us now do, the idea of a good black rifle would require a considerable investment of precious dollars and might involve a wait of many months. To what avail? If the unruly were to decide to revolt, one would be forced to act fast. Most wars are come as you are, and unarmed is not a good option. What to do?

The traditional reasons for owning a gun are many, Home defense, sport shooting and hunting are only three very good reasons to have firearm. Who needs a reason though, isn't it a constitutionally protected right? We live in troubled times though. The constitution is under assault by evil forces. Make no mistake they have an agenda, and it is not keeping junior from accidentally shooting the kitten either. If you add anarchy prevention and national defense you stand a chance at getting to the crux of the problem. Frankly, everyone should own a gun.

So what gun is the right choice? Any gun store worth its salt will have several hundred to chose from in a range of calibers that boggles the mind. You could go with a black gun, arms such as the venerable AR-15, civilian cousin to the oft derided M-16 mighty mattel. You can opt for an SKS on a budget, or even an old L3A3 CMETE, or other variant of a foreign service rifle.

If you want my advise, and if you've read this far, you do, get two guns. Pick out a good well built .22 rifle to plink and practice with. Practice does not make perfect, but it gives you an understanding of why you missed and where to place the next shot. There are several good options out there, the Ruger 10-22 and Marlin 60 series families are both great options. Both are well built and have a confirmed reputation for durability and reliability.

The second rifle is the harder choice. A good hunting or varmint grade rifle can be had for a lot less then an AR. Half or less, and if you shop carefully, even as low as 1/6 the price of an AR.

Caliber is another consideration. I recommend something in a popular caliber. We can debate all day the advantages of our pet round. Whether it be the 270 vs 30-06 argument, or comparisons of the 257 Roberts vs the 280 Remington or 6.8 SPC vs 6.5 Grendel, days weeks or years can be wasted on mind numbing commentary. I advise that you pick a caliber that is common and reasonable. No use going bankrupt on a box of ammo. The goal here is to get good and be confident.

Getting to know your weapon isn't crazy. As part of my training in the military, we would take several weapons and put the parts in a box. With a blindfold on, we would attempt to reassemble those firearms with ever faster times being the goal. Ever see the scene in The Unit where Brown is tested? Its real, we do that. Malfunctions happen in the dead of night when a simple light will draw unwanted attention and bullets. Knowing what to do is as important as shot placement.

Most people are 100 yard shooters. They do not take the time to practice, and therefore anything in the medium range and beyond is a waste of lead. Practice folks, that is what the 22 is all about. With a little effort its possible to group 2 inches at 200 yards with a Ruger 10-22. If my wife can, you can. Don't pick perfect days to shoot either. Bad things happen at the wrong times for the wrong reasons. I spent an afternoon several months ago with a 40 mph plus cross wind popping Pepsi bottles. I was giving over a foot of Kentucky windage to keep the shots on target.

Red Dawn laid out a scenario of a massive invasion by Soviet and Cuban forces. The odds of that happening are slim, unless of course, you live in Georgia, Armenia, or any other Former Soviet Republic. If the USA were to be attacked successfully, something would have to be done first to cripple our armed forces. Four years of democrat control of congress won't quiet do that, but it sure didn't help. Frankly, many evil forces wait for the chance to pounce. We are big, soft, and vulnerable if our military is distracted or depleted. Learning the basics of marksmanship could be essential.

Am I saying the Cubans are waiting? No, I'm not. Other dangers lurk for you and your family. As drug usage increases, and our economy continues to tank, those who live on the fringe of the law are becoming more desperate. If you live on the outskirts of town, on a dark street, or in a bad area, you could be vulnerable. Frankly, thugs can go just about anywhere. The down and outers may see you as wealthy and take covetousness to the next level. They regard your hard earned property as community, and if the law is away, thugs will prey. Best be prepared. Yes, that might be a close quarters encounter, but its one you'd better win. Some years back. A group of narco officers confronted a car load of determined criminals. All members were armed with high capacity semi autos. All members had at least one spare mag of ammo. The entire dance was caught by a security camera on a nearby building. The festivities began with the bad guys bailing out of their vehicle as the cops exited theirs. With no formalities, both sides drew and commenced to fire. Nearly 180 rounds were fired by five men at a distance of less then fifty feet. There was no cover as they were between the vehicles, not by the doors. The act ended when the bad guys, out of ammo, selected the Jesse Owens option and ran for their freedom. One was tackled on camera while the other made it several hundred yards, returning in cuffs less then a minute later. As I remember it, only one guy was nicked, and it was debatable whether it was a bullet or a glass fragment that hit him. These Police were professionals. That they missed such close shots speaks volumes to the effects of adrenaline on the human condition. That no bystanders were hit also speaks volumes, it was not an empty street.

In any scenario you encounter, chances are you won't need a hundred rounds unless you plan on missing. A lot. Even if it came to a civil war here at home, you, Joe Average, probably won't need the thousand rounds of full auto capability we all dream of. Mobs would likely consist of a half dozen at most. Frankly, drugies usually are too paranoid to last in large groups.

In your house, you will face added factors, location of family will be of tantamount importance.

Preparation is physical and mental. Have a plan. Have a back up plan. Be ready, now is not the time for drunken stupor. Know yourself and be confident. You can win only if you train, so my admonition to you is become the man who knows exactly how to use it.

Note: I wrote this several years ago and it was posted at blogmocracy. I forgot to post it here, so am updating it and posting it now.

Good Bye Big Boy

The US is dismantling the last of the B-53 nuclear bombs, the biggest in our arsenal. these behemoths have been the king pin of nuclear deterrent since I was a wee one. With a yield 600 times greater then the bombs dropped on Japan to end WW2, these were a mighty force. They were intended to go after hardened and buried targets in a time when accuracy was hard to achieve, and collateral damage second or last in the list of considerations.
They had been retired from our arsenal in 1997, but were sitting around waiting for the proverbial ax. That ax has now fallen. Today's nuclear bombs, while smaller, are more lethal in that they are pinpoint accurate. We don't need to level a district to eliminate one factory. we proved that in our attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan. In fact, we don't need nukes to achieve 99.99% of our goals in any war. They are there for deterrent purposes. Mutually assured destruction! You may get us, but we will get you. All of you. That thought worked well with the soviets. It does not work with Jihadists who welcome death. For them, we need a revived doomsday weapon. Our new lead deterrent needs to be a MOAB wrapped in bacon. nothing like the assurance of death with pork and a trip to hell forever to ward off islamists bent on our destruction.

Marlin 410

While Winchester has always been the big name in lever action guns, Marlin has been arround nearly as long. Both introduced their signature rifle in 1894, rifles that remained in production for decades.
This jewel though, is not a rifle. Meet the marlin 410 lever action shotgun.
Introduced during the deepest years of th depression, the Marlin 410 was never sold. Instead, Marlin gave these away at their anual shareholders meetings from 1929 to 1932.
A modern version was reintroduced in 2006 but discontinued in 2008. These are a fun gun to shoot, and a challenge to hunt with.

Border dumping

Felipe Calderon is upset at the US policy of dumping illegal alien criminals at the border rather then prosecuting and locking them up here. he blames the increase in crime along the border on this policy, and he may be right. Those criminals came from every part of Mexico. Concentrating them a the border is not smart on our part. There is not a lot to do in the border communities if you are not into drug smuggling or human trafficking.
We need to rethink our policy. When I was a kid on the farm, dad or mom would regularly load up all the kittens and take them for a ride. It seemed that 99% of em always made it back. One time I remember them beating us home. We went to town and did a little shopping, maybe an hour, When we got home, those kittens had all returned. Same problem with border dumping, if they don't find something to keep them in Mexico, they will return.
According to Homeland Security, 400,000 were transported to the border and released, mostly criminals. I cannot fathom that many being trucked back, that's over 1000 each day! How many of them were returned multiple times?
Here are my suggestions,
1. Castrate them before dumping them. We could have ten guys trained in a matter of weeks. Ranchers regularly castrate bulls on the range, a simple arrangement at the border and we could be denutting them at the release point. if they return, the pecker is next.
If that doesn't work, step two is return them to Mexico City. Since I doubt Felipe will allow those planes to land, make it night flights, and drop them from an altitude low enough they won't suffer from oxygen deprivation, but high enough they have time to royally shit themselves before impact. Do it on a moonless night for added drama. Shit themselves? Did I say anything about parachutes? Those things cost money! give em a ruck sack full of rocks.
I don't mind immigrants. my grandparents were immigrants, I am dating an immigrant, I live with several immigrants. Heck, I don't really mind illegal immigrants as long as they work hard, mind their own business, understand they do not have rights, and obey our laws. Yes I understand they are breaking the law by being here, but I also know what kind of shit holes they left to come here. In spite of Barry the butthead, we are still the land of opportunity. He has tried, but has yet to get us to the standards of Cuba, or Zimbabwe
If they are willing to work their asses off, and the company they work for pays taxes just as if they were a regular citizen, I ain't gonna get all bent out of shape about it. remember, if Taco Bell hires them, they deduct income tax, which they can never get a refund on. Its a win for the government in a sense, although getting a welfare puke to do the job would be better, IF the welfare puke would work. Heck, I'd bet that if the government got real, and ended Social suckerty disability tomorrow, every stinking one of them would find a job in a month. it might be sucking dick, but they would not starve to death.
As for the criminals, they are Felipe's criminals, why should we pay to house them? he can build a few more jails and create jobs in Mexico.

Gadhafi is dead

But that is not necessarily a good thing. Let me be clear, I am glad to see him deposed, and happy he is dead. His forty two year reign of evil should have ended decades ago. We should have targeted him and gone all in after the Berlin bombing. We did not. We allowed this scum bag to exhale pollution for another nearly thirty years. Reagans mistake.
So why is his death not a good thing? As with all things, whether bacteria or rodents, something else will now take his spot. Nature abhors a vacuum, and the void left in Libya will soon be filled. Nature has another interesting bad trend, that is chaos. If things are neat, they rarely stay that way, and if things are disorderly, they tend to devolve to worse. So it is with nations, families, and every other form of community.
When the US removed Saddam Insane from power, they went in and took control. It was not imperialism, it was respecting the lessons we learned through history. After WW1 we allowed Germany self government. Instead of a nifty transition to republican government, they experienced chaos. That chaos, that inability to build a government of the people led in short order to the rise of Hitler, and we had it all to do over again.
Now, I'm not saying that the muslim botherhood are Nazi's, don't infer that. What we have is a group of ideological thugs who are crazed by power. They have raped women, and brutalized many in the nation. They are not interested in a republic, they want another dictatorship, one governed by their twisted interpretation of the satanic verses, the koran.
Our Arabic idiot president fucked up. When he decided to get involved in his kinetic military action, He failed fully to think long term. he did not vet the coalition inside Libya that he chose to support. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. I would not want to believe he supported them knowing what kind of rabid skunks they are.
Carter gave us the Islamic revulsion in Iran. ObamAA+ is out to beat him by giving us destabilized regimes in Egypt, Libya, and possibly Iraq. Things ain't lookin too bright in Syria either. I don't know how it could get worse then it was, But I expect its gonna be one heck of a lot worse. With radical change like that on the borders of Israel, I expect we are seeing serious trouble for them. It will be compounded if this idiot stays in the White House much longer as he has shown he has no love for our traditional allies.

But can he work with Klingons?

Good old for nothing Mitt says he can work with "good" democrats. Heck, anybody could... If there were such a thing. We need some one in the White House who can contend with the low life back stabbing liars, not compromise with the ueless fucks. We want to roll back the destruction, not slow it down.
Enough of Romney. He has good values and seems like a nice guy, but he is NOT presidential at this point in his life.
We do not need another George HW Bush, who gets fucked over by playing nice with the assholes, We need some one who will not bend, won't budge, and above all will not tolleate the intollerable.

UNDERSTANDING DERIVATIVES

From the e-mail collection, H/T John

Heidi is the proprietor of a bar in Detroit ...

She realizes that virtually all of her customers are unemployed alcoholics and, as such, can no longer afford to patronize her bar. To solve this problem, she comes up with a new marketing plan that allows her customers to drink now, but pay later. Heidi keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger (thereby granting the customers loans).
Word gets around about Heidi's "drink now, pay later" marketing strategy and, as a result, increasing numbers of customers flood into Heidi's bar. Soon she has the largest sales volume for any bar in Detroit ...
By providing her customers freedom from immediate payment demands, Heidi gets no resistance when, at regular intervals, she substantially increases her prices for wine and beer, the most consumed beverages.
Consequently, Heidi's gross sales volume increases massively.
A young and dynamic vice-president at the local bank recognizes that these customer debts constitute valuable future assets and increases Heidi's borrowing limit. He sees no reason for any undue concern because he has the debts of the unemployed alcoholics as collateral! At the bank's corporate headquarters, expert traders figure a way to make huge commissions, and transform these customer loans into DRINKBONDS. These "securities" then are bundled and traded on international securities markets.
Naive investors don't really understand that the securities being sold to them as "AAA Secured Bonds" really are debts of unemployed alcoholics. Nevertheless, the bond prices continuously climb - and the securities soon become the hottest-selling items for some of the nation's leading brokerage houses.
One day, even though the bond prices still are climbing, a risk manager at the original local bank decides that the time has come to demand payment on the debts incurred by the drinkers at Heidi's bar. He so informs Heidi.
Heidi then demands payment from her alcoholic patrons. But, being unemployed alcoholics -- they cannot pay back their drinking debts. Since Heidi cannot fulfil her loan obligations she is forced into bankruptcy. The bar closes and Heidi's 11 employees lose their jobs. Overnight, DRINKBOND prices drop by 90%.
The collapsed bond asset value destroys the bank's liquidity and prevents it from issuing new loans, thus freezing credit and economic activity in the community. The suppliers of Heidi's bar had granted her generous payment extensions and had invested their firms' pension funds in the BOND securities. They find they are now faced with having to write off her bad debt a nd with losing over 90% of the presumed value of the bonds.
Her wine supplier also claims bankruptcy, closing the doors on a family business that had endured for three generations, her beer supplier is taken over by a competitor, who immediately closes the local plant and lays off 150 workers.
Fortunately though, the bank, the brokerage houses and their respective executives are saved and bailed out by a multibillion dollar no-strings attached cash infusion from the government. The funds required for this bailout are obtained by new taxes levied on employed, middle-class, non-drinkers who have never been in Heidi's bar.

Now do you understand?

Occupied Wall Street

I've been pondering these protests for quite a while now. An angry mob has taken over wall street. Some of their demands sound at least a little reasonable on the surface, others are from out there in la-la land.
Reality is that most of the folks with money got it by working for it. A few bilked the system, but most did it by providing a product or service at a reasonable cost for consumers. Steve Jobs, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and many more earned every dime they have. That money is not sitting in a dust vault, it is part of our economy, providing capital for other enterprising souls. Bill Gates did not make the OWS folks poor, other factors did. That is how capitalism works. Socialism doesn't, the only two systems that survive are capitalism, and totalitarianism. Totalitarianism works because they kill the slackers. No welfare, no lazy mouths to feed.
People decry corporate greed. Most corporations are made up of share holders. if you own stock in any company, you are part of greedy corporate America. Your stock may have lost value in recent years. Most companies still pay a dividend, and that is where smart investors make their money, not in day trading.
The OWS crowd is unhappy that they cannot find jobs. So are a lot of people put out of work by a democrat congress and their bad policies. These kids need to wake up shut up, open their eyes and ears and learn a few things. America does not need a million graduates with degrees in botanical design. hell, we don't need a million lawyers either.
The only change I see for our current situation is to go back to buying American. What good is a living wage if no one wants the product at the price that will force? Corporations shipped jobs over seas. they saw a chance to make money that way because labor costs went through the roof thanks to the unions. If the OWS crowd want to make a difference, they could start by decking a union thug. jail time? Sure, but they are getting jailed for the dumb stuff they are doing on Wall Street. hope they get smart before they get old. My money is on old.

Dear ESPN

Stick it! I know that DirecTV automatically tracks programs. Your numbers are about to fall by one redneck, and hopefully millions more people who see your act as garbage. I hope advertisers take note.

Time to Amend the Constitution?

No matter how I look at it, everything I see tells me that ObamAA+ violated al Awlaki's constitutional rights when he had him assassinated. This is like the old saw about watching your mother in law back over a cliff in your brand new Lincoln. you want to cry and do cart wheels.

The sobering reality is that absent a congressional decision to impeach the President for murder, this will become precedent, and that is scary. You piss off the governor of Nebraska, and then while vacationing in Colorado, he has you shot? Yes, it could get that bad. The real answer, in my humble opinion is to amend the U.S. Constitution and establish a path for correcting such problems.

I believe that if a person commits a crime that is a felony, and flees the country, a system should be in place to strip him of his citizenship, try him in absentia, and once a guilty verdict is handed down, have him assassinated by a diplomatic envoy sent to the country in which he is hiding. He should be afforded one chance to return to the US by surrendering himself at the embassy or consulate, or by having the local police transport him to the embassy, and that chance should be limited to something like thirty days from the date of the verdict. Publish one notification via the embassy, in as many papers as is practical in the country he is believed to be hiding in. Notify all close relatives, parents, spouse, children, and siblings of the order so they can inform him, but do not disclose whether his location is known or suspected, then following a grace period of a set specific number of days, a death warrant goes into effect, and he can be shot like a dog in the street.

All felons should be stripped of citizenship. Not permanently, but for a set specific time frame. No right to vote or own property is already the case in some states. That is not fair in my opinion unless it is for a set time that corresponds to the severity of the crime. Once that time has elapsed, they could apply to have their rights restored and it must be granted. It should also be worded in such a way to prevent it from being done by the states to criminals who flee to other states but remain with in the country, unless the state to which they flee refuses to extradite them.

Did al Awlaki get due process?

Don Surber seems to think he did. At first I agreed entirely with him, but as I read the long comment string I began to have reservations.
Yes, I am glad he is dead, but this goes much deeper then personal feelings about muslims. al Awlaki was born in the United States, so by the 14th amendment, he was a citizen and entitled to due process. They could send a hit team and kill Roman Polanski and I would be alright with it as long as that was in keeping with sentencing guidelines established by vote of congress. I happen to agree with executing scum who molest children, and since he got her intoxicated to do so, this was not a case of age discrimination as some other cases of molestation are, but one that would still be rape if she was thirty. Sadly, the Supreme idiots decided that rape was no longer a crime that qualified for death. So if Roman was target and executed by the government it would be wrong. al Awlaki never had a trial though, and Roman did.
al Awlaki's parents were Yemeni here on a student visa. The 14th amendment says if they are born under the law, they are citizens. Present interpretation is that even the offspring of illegals born here have citizenship, something else I disagree with, but his folks weren't illegals. As a side, I want to note that I have a cousin who was born in Germany when her father was stationed there. When she turned 18, she had to decide whether to be an American citizen, or a German one. At that time, there was no recognition of dual citizenship. To me, it should still be that way. A dual citizen as I understand it, cannot vote in a foreign election and retain his citizenship here. I could be wrong. I think Yemen's last election was to decide whether the male goat or the donkey would be the national sex toy. That was in 1318, so I don't think that disqualifier would apply.
al Awlaki made war against the United States, pure and simple. True he was not in a national army of a recognized nation, but never the less, he was helping terrorists.Unfortunately, the supreme court ruled in Afroyim v. Rusk, that even the lowest scumbag gets to keep his citizenship unless he specifically renounces it. Therefore, by court decision, and not by legislation, al Awlaki was a US citizen. BTW, I don't regard Afroyim as scum, just my interpretation of their mistaken ruling.
I guess we could make claim that al Awlaki was a Yemeni when we killed him, but we are not at war with Yemen, so that argument also fails.
We should fear a government that would assassinate one of its citizens with out an attempt at due process. This could lead to the killing of Americans at home or abroad with out justification on the allegation that they were criminals. Troy Davis got 20 years worth of appeals before he got his just reward. al Awlaki got no such chance.
I'm glad in many ways that he is dead. I wish the courts would have allowed a means whereby a citizen, especially a naturalized one could be stripped of that privilege, but right no it does not exist. We should have gone after him with a SEAL team just as we did Osama bin fishbait. Then had he resisted, we would have the justification for laying him low, or more correctly, a team similar to it but comprised of law enforcement such as Marshals or FBI.
I love my country, I fear my government, especially the one we have right now.

Sue baby sue

Well, it looks like ObamAA+ has a solution to the unemployment problem, letting the unemployed sue if they don't get hired. Thats gonna help a bunch, the liars err lawyers get richer, not much else. Every employer is wise to select the best qualified candidate. Right now, that may be the guy who still has a job but is dissatisfied with it and wants to move on. Every play musical chairs? The problem with this rendition is that some employers will opt to not replace the guy who left. Who can blame them? This is a democrat economy, and that means suck city for business men.
I wish some of his loyal fools would sue him for not paying their mortgage and buying them a big screen TV. Oh wait, he most likely did, when he extended the unemployment bennies.

Democrats oppose Democracy

Growing trend? First it was North Carolina’s Democratic Governor, now Obama's former budget director, Peter Orszag, says, “We need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic.” What do you think? Does America need less democracy? Stole it from For America.

what a jackass!

If you are expecting a diatribe about idiots in movies doing stupid stunts, you will be disappointed. This is about the holster designed by Rick Gallagher back in 1970 for the Chicago PD. First appearing in film in the 1981 movie Thief, the Jackass rig made an impact in peoples minds. When Hollywood churned out Miami Vice in 1984, they first attempted several clones of the venerable Jackass because they could not locate the manufacturer who had moved from Chicago to Phoenix. Funny thing, moving from a city where guns are so popular! OK, /sarc and back to business.
It seems Don Johnson took a real liking to the rig, and the Miami Classic was born. I can understand why, the holster is one of the best I have used. The fit feels natural, and a draw has the gun at high ready where you need it.
This rig is not a Miami Classic though, its a Jackass, the similarities are many, but the differences telling. The MC holster swivels attach on top, the Jackass back swivel attaches in front of the barrel. That gives the gun a muzzle high carry. Since that also swings the grips toward your ribs, it aids in concealing the weapon. If your carry choice happens to be a full length 1911, that becomes important as you wander the streets trolling for a mugger to scare the ever living shit out of since a muzzle tenting out the back of your jacket tends to keep em away.

This rig also sports the bottom snap stiched mag wells. Current production offers a bottom snap mag pouch which is riveted rather then stitched. The Current MC and MCII offer a stitched mag pouch, and a choice of forward facing or bottom snap retainers.

Having one of the finest products on the market has made the Jackass the most copied holster in modern times. You can get a clone in the neighborhood of $30.00 or you can get a system that will last you a life time for arround $150.

Iran to be getting American bunker busters?

Via Israel? Sound like smart diplomacy to me! We should see to it that Syria and Egypt are on the express order list, especially if things in Cairo continue to spiral downward.

A tail of two executions

Wednesday saw the executions of two convicted murderers, one in Georgia, One in Texas. Troy Davis was convisted for the 1989 murder of an off duty police office, a crime for which he has maintained his inocense. Lawrence Russell Brewer was convicted for hte 1998 dragging death of James Byrd. A black man convicted of killing a white, and a white man convicted of a hate crime murder of a black.
I have reservations about the conviction of Davis, but a jury of his peers found him guilty. If indeed he was not the trigger man, he was still present when it happend, and was willing to walk away and allow a murderer to go free. Instead, his accusations are that the real killer framed him. This is one clear case where polygraph examination of all witnesses would have ensured that justice was sure. If indeed Davis was framed, the real killer will have two lives to answer in hell for.
How many protesters wer outside the Huntsville complex to ask that the life of Brewer be spared? Were any prominent white ministers there to demand commutation of his sentence? Georgia was packed with protesters.
Both men were unique, killers whose victims were of a diffrent race. Most blacks kill blacks, most whites are  killed by whites. Both men got their just reward.
Justice delayed is justice denied. Davis lived another 22 years after the death of officer Mark MacPhail, Brewer breathed for an additional 13 after he slaughtered Byrd. The appeals process should start with a lie detector examination. If the convicted can pass, then examine each witness. We need to speed the appeals process, Gavel to grave in 365. Never a reason to keep em alive.

Obie v Fox

So pres ent downgrade is going after Fox News parent company, News Corp. This from Don Surber, World Class columnist at the Daily Mail. This should be no suprise, Totalitarian dictators demand control of hte press. If people knew the truth, they would revolt against them.

Nebraska Football

You have to understand Nebraska to understand why football is so popular there.
There are only two things to do in Nebraska, watch the corn grow and football. After about mid August, the corn watching gets pretty dull, so football season starts then. If Nebraska were further south, they wouldn't take notice of the football until December.
Coach Pelini is very popular, almost on a par with Tom Osborne, commonly known as TO. The reason is most Nebraska fans cannot spell Bob.
The vicious lies about Nebraska cheerleaders grazing at half time is unfounded. Once they get a taste of good Nebraska corn, they turn their noses at the leafy stuff.
Go big red. Don't let the door hit you in the ass as you slither off to the big ten.

Its Constitution Day

The Constitution of the United States, once the supreme law of the land begins with the words We The People. Some how in recent years, ok, a century or more, that has been ignored by lawmakers and politicians on both sides of the isle.
Its time for the People to take control of OUR country. A lot of congress critters and judges need to go. That is the bottom line. 2012 needs to be the year that the Constitution is restored. If your congressperson is a lawyer, find some one of good moral character to run against them. The 13th ammendment needs to be codified into law, and the court system cleaned up. Won't happen, but I can dream.

Saturday humor

A guy fell asleep on the beach and got a horrible sunburn, specifically to his thighs. He went to the hospital and was admitted with second-degree burns. His skin was starting to blister and he was in severe pain so the doctor prescribed continuous saline, electrolytes, a sedative, and a Viagra pill every four hours. The nurse, who was astounded, asked, 'What good will Viagra do for him?' The doctor replied, 'It won't do anything for his condition, but it'll keep the sheets off his legs.

Topeka, algae is the least of your worries.

Seems the fine folk at KDHE are a little concerned about water safety as Milford reservoir begins to discharge water contaminated with blue green algae. This has a few of the residents there worried. The good news is that Topeka so far has not detected algae in their water supply. the bad news is Manhattan St George, Wamego, and dang near every town in Kansas dumps their sewage into the river. Sure, its processed, but you can talk all day and won't convince me that they can get all my Mexican Chili shit our of any thing.
Seriously, Dogs around Milford have died from drinking the lake water. Folks need to take this issue to heart right now. Act as though your biggest worry is my Mexican chili shit, it could save your pets life.
