Komen caved

Its a sad day. The Susan Komen foundation decided to cave to leftard pressure and will again support an organization devoted to the slaughter of children. Planned Parenthood claims that only 3% of their services are devoted to abortion. according to their chart, they devote 35% to contraception, and if you read the fine print, you will find that includes morning after pills which are another version of abortion.
Komen is supposed to be about finding a cure for breast cancer. P-P does not do anything in that arena. The closest thing you will get is a referral to someone that does screening.
Planned Parenthood uses a lot of double speak in their web information.
• Percentage of Planned Parenthood health care clients

• age 20 and older: 80
• with incomes at or below 150 percent of the federal poverty level: 76
• who receive services to prevent unintended pregnancy: 76
• who receive abortion services: 11

• Percentage of all Planned Parenthood health services that are abortion services: 3

So is it 3% or 11%?
They also have this factoid;
• Estimated number of unintended pregnancies averted by Planned Parenthood contraceptive services each year: 584,000
My understanding is this is the number of emergency contraceptives given out, morning after pills, another form of abortion, just without a knife. So add 20% to their totals and make it 31% abortions. So if 31% of the combined 37% that is abortion and contraceptive services is ending a pregnancy by either surgical or chemical means, that makes them nothing more then an abortion mill in my book.
Komen was wrong to cave to the pressure. Conservatives were opening their pocket books for them as liberals were closing theirs. I hope when they see the number of cancellations, it gives them a clue.
