There was an article out the other day from a daughter of the ranking survivor of the Titanic's crew. In it she claimed that The Titanic sunk because the Captain made the foolish mistake of continuing to sail after they struck the iceberg. Most history books claim that the Titanic stopped almost immediately. Hers is a different perspective while she claims the truth was covered up to protect the White Star Line.
Sound like Deja Vue?
The USS democrats launched our flag ship in 2006. A captain took the helm in 2008, a most inexperienced man who had never sailed a large vessel. A man whose only experience was a toy boat in a bath tub, one which he is rumored to have intentionally sunk.
Shortly after the voyage of the USS Hope began, they too struck an iceberg. Or maybe it was a rock shoal, or maybe just reality. Instead of doing the right thing, stopping and saving the boat, passengers and crew, they too plowed foolishly ahead, full steam. In doing so they ripped the gash further and deeper, causing wealth to flow out and foolishness to flow in.
Today our economy is sinking by the bow. We are not in a ditch, we are submerging in a vast ocean of incompetence and mismanagement while the foolish captain is egged on by unscrupulous "owners" who want the destruction of this great economic vessel so they can have a bigger global one.
Its not time to abandon ship, its time to bail. Throw the dead weight off, set the captain afloat for his mismanagement, and above all bring his handlers to task. Get rid of useless garbage and fire people who will not do their jobs.
The truth did not come out about Titanic. the truth needs to come out about the economy. People know the truth, some may not be willing to admit it, but the truth is out there, clear as a bell, and impossible to deny.
Demoncraps scorned the republicans for their hypocritical stance on spending. Some failed to see that all they were saying was amatures. Amature hour ended in 2006. The pros have now shown us that they can destroy a nation in mere years. Its not too late to stop them, and stop them we must.
Lets not let the new Titanic slip beneath the waves forever. This ship, our economy, took years to build. Another such vessel will take longer given the destruction left if it goes down completely. Gov regulation is not the answer when clearly it was the cause.
