Shaping up for a showdown in Alabama

With President Trump's choice of Jeff Sessions as Attorney General, the uniparty seized on the opportunity to install the never Trumper Big Lying Luther Strange to fill his seat, and for the last few months he has been ever the obedient party hack in Washington. Things are shaping up for a fight though as voters prepare to cast ballots in the primary which will thin the ranks. Essentially the three choices are; 1. Judge Roy Moore who has been regularly chosen by the good people of Alabama only to see their vote tossed to the wind by an establishment judge or the feral persuasion. 2. Mo Brooks who went from being a Cruz supporter to a Trump fanatic. Mo is a solid candidate, and would also make a great Senator. 3. Luther Strange who was appointed by Governor Bentley.
While Mo Brooks is a great choice and would be a good addition to the Senate, he already holds a House seat, so a win by him means another election, and another chance for a never trumper to slither in.
From my porch, the best choice for Alabama and the nation is Judge Moore. He isn't the type to get taken in by the swamp rats in Washington, and it keeps two slots solidly in the Trump camp.
Then, Luther Strange can go back to being a festering boil on the uniparty bench.

I agree. Mo was district attorney of Madison county where I live. He was hard nosed. I would like for him to stay where he is continuing his work there. The only good BIG Luther could do is get items from a high shelf in the senate when needed. Judge Moore is steadfast in his beliefs. He has proven he will not bend to please the establishment. I wish him the best of luck and he has my vote!
