This was popular when I was stationed in Germany. It got a lot of play on the AFN as well as the German stations.

Song's about hitchhiking, believe it or not. Fanning for a ride. Also had Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream at that time.

Very simple lyrics, but the original is over 22 minutes in length. Kinda like a political speech that goes on and on and on...
