My thoughts on illegal immigrants

I have a friend in the restaurant business. She tells me it is hard as heck to find people today willing to work. This is a college town, it should be chock full of kids looking for a job, any job. The problem is these kids have no work ethic. When they graduate, if they graduate, they will move into the work force in upper levels. Many of them want all the perks daddy has with out doing the thirty years of work daddy did to earn them. So these kids show up at the fast food joint, and expect to do little or nothing. She has even had cases where first day hires want to tell seasoned employees what to do and how to do it. That does not fly.
She recently told me that the best workers are foreign born. They arrive hungry. Not for food, but for an opportunity to make a better life for them selves. The down side is, they are easy prey for abuse. They don't want to jeopardize a job and risk deportation. It creates an ugly and dangerous situation.
I sympathize with them. They risked their lives crossing into this country looking for a better life. That does not mean I agree with them. I want a secure border first and foremost. A barrier that keep people from making the dangerous trek across   the worst parts of the south west. That needs to be job one.
I also sympathize with employers. Until we do something to make people work, the lazy will find ways to hang on and get their EBT cards filled and live like leeches off of us. Ending benefits, and punishing the people who enable them needs to be job two. when employers would rather hire a foreigner, we have a problem. If foreign workers are found in a place of business. make the owner show that he tried to hire natural born workers and could not. employee records would suffice. My friend has a file cabinet full of folders on kids she hired, and fired because they had an attitude and would not do the job. I draw a line between businesses who are trying to hold on vs those who take advantage of the foreign workers.
What to do with the ones we have here? I am not necessarily in favor of blanket deportations. First, I would make it that a foreigner who arrived illegally could never earn the right to vote. Same for their children. I would let them stay, I would let them work, but I would not extend privileges to them. I also would not allow them to receive welfare payments of any type. Hell, I want to end those for the leeches we have now. Same for free medical. They either pay the ER bill, or the Mexican government does.
I would also tax all Western Union transactions going across the border. Minimum tax, 25%. The can apply it on their tax return when they file at the end of the year.
This is just a start. We have an economy that is in dire straits due to the management of the present administration, we need to be working on getting it healthy. Only a few years ago we were in a boom time. Those foreign workers filled a niche that appeared bottomless. We welcomed them with open arms. The tide has turned though, and its not right to turn on them since they are not the problem. Many of them hold beliefs which are not compatible with the main stream communism of the democrat party, so lets not push them to support communism and the tyranny they fled to come here.

Well Well Well

I've seen several reports recently about the lesbian waitress in New Jersey who claimed to have been stiffed on a tip by folks who supposedly left her a nasty note about her life style choice. Its appears all is not as it appears.
One problem with grabbing the spot light, is that its glare oft times reveals your flaws. Its starting to look like Dayna is a serial liar. Part of her resume is a stint in the Marine Corps. It now looks like she was booted by the Corps. Ok, not every one is perfect, and seriously, the Marines are not every ones cup of tea. The are a lot of good people who don't measure up to their standards, and if a person is not fit for the Corps, its best they not be there for every ones sake. My guess is she left after they refused to give her any awards for her heroics in combat in Iraq err Afghanistan err New York. Yeah, shes a trooper, a Garret trooper. Or at least has as many tall tails as the average REMF.
Fiends are now telling all about her. The good news is she does not have brain cancer,(but does she have a brain?) was never raped by her father, did not loose a child to cervical cancer, and did not wind up with a boat in her living room after Sandy. The bad news is she has not run out of tall tails to tell.
My bet on what happened is that she printed a second copy of the ticket. If there was a print error, they will make a second copy with out a duplicate tag on them, then either doctored it herself, or had a friend do it for her. I do not buy for a New York minute that a co worker did this to offend her. No waitress worth her salt lets some one else get at her receipts. When you work for tips, you treat them like gold.
Some say Time will tell, but shit like this usually only makes it as far as The Enquirer.
Thanks Dayna for proving that its a dog eat dog world when you don't follow GODs commands.
Oh, and Wounded Warriors? Don't hold your breath waiting for her to donate the money she defrauded. She has no honor.

Damn right its a civil rights issue

Mark Suckerberg, the idiot savant inventor of farcebook is switching feet. He went on ABC's this week and stated that immigration reform is one of the biggest civil rights issues facing this nation. He's is right in a way, it is a big civil rights issue. millions of Americans legally here are being denied jobs because we allow illegals to live and work without repercussions.

Mark, next time pick get a clue for a billion dollars. All the money in your checking account won't make you right, so shut up and stick to what you know, computer code.

Bad But....

An old woman goes to get a tattoo

" I want Tom Cruise here and Matt Damon here ! ( Pointing at her upper thighs )

As the work goes on the lady starts complaining.

"I don't think that looks much like them !"

" Trust me lady once I am through it will " , replies the tat man.

When he is finished the women is still not convinced .

" That's because you're looking at them upside down" says the tat man, handing her a mirror.

" Well I guess you are right but why the hell did you put Phil Robertson between them ?

A good idea

High speed chases are a nightmare unfolding. When the bad guys decide to punch it, life gets dicy. The police often have no clue what may be prompting the person to run, and it gets ugly fast. The recent shooting in New Mexico is one example of how things can get off kilter.
In that instance, the police shot at a van after the driver became belligerent during what should have been a routine speeding stop. She sped off, her 14 year old kid got in the officers face, and eventually another officer shot at the vehicle, creating a hue and cry because children were in the vehicle.
Yes, it was just a speeding violation, and the response by the cops was over the top, shooting at a vehicle containing small kids. Was it though? The cops had no idea why she acted the way she did. She might have had a vehicle loaded with drugs, or an escaped fugitive hiding in the back.
Police now have a new option though. Its called a GPS cannon. It attaches to the front grill of the squad car, and fires a tracking device so they can follow th vehicle with out a full blown chase, and catch the bad guys later.
Lets take it one step further though. Every time An officer makes a stop, protocol is to place a hand on th rear of the vehicle, leaving a print so if things go bad, there is physical evidence on the vehicle. On board cameras make it an obsolete gesture. Maybe what we should have, is the officer placing a GPS tracker on the back of the vehicle, so if the driver decides to flee,  they have a homing beacon, at least until its discovered and removed. Basically, a zoomback with a magnetic strip on it.
Some of my rants lead people to think I'm anti cop, I'm not. They are an important part of society, and they are there in time of trouble to report what went wrong and hopefully bring justice.  Stuff like the shooting in Washington, the molestation in Deming, and other over the top tactics should not be tolerated. The police are there to serve us, and we need them. We need them to know their place, and remember that they are our servants, not our masters.
Back to the device, if this tool can take some of the danger out of the equation, its a good thing. I see that situations can be defused rather then escalated, and handled with less lethal force then a high speed chase generates. One other benefit is that it would allow officers to obtain warrants rather then making searches and seizures that get questioned in courts from podunk all the way to SCOTUS. Keeping police out of questionable situations improves life for them and for us. The life it saves might be am officer, but it might very well be a van load of kids with an idiot mother.

Winter has arrived

Freezing rain today here in Kansas, and the Communists in Washington have rewritten filibuster rules so they can get Obastards nominations through the senate with out debate. We said it would be a cold day in hell when we let them get away with this, so I guess that confirms it, Kansas is hell. What they could not accomplish in 2009 and 10 when they had complete control, they will now attempt to do before the 2014 elections. They know this is their one last chance at forcing this down our throats.
One side of me hopes that republicans get a super majority in 2014 and use it to impeach every last one of his nominations. The other part of me knows the party of stupid will never do what needs to be done to fix this mess. They will reach across the isle instead. Kinda like a woman with an abusive husband.
GOD is punishing us, and our foolish leaders are his tools.

Correction

AFP writers are not the brightest, and their political slant is among the steepest as they lean toward communism and its associated planks, in this case infant murder commonly called abortion.

From the article:
Washington (AFP) - The US Supreme Court refused to block a law that restricts requires women's access to quality medical care in case of a botched abortion in the southern state of Texas.
The measure requires that doctors performing abortions have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles (48 km) of the site of the abortion, in case because complications often arise.
As a result, opponents say, more than a third of Texas facilities performing abortions are being shuttered.
A group of women and doctors from the state asked the US Supreme Court to at least temporarily block the law's application.
But the court rejected the appeal along ideological lines, with its five four conservative justices and one namby pamby siding against its four progressives communists.

There is no question in my mind that abortion is murder. It is a new human life from the moment of conception. The irony is that if abortion were still legal, the rat bastard commies wouldn't need to use election fraud to win since most kids lean politically in the same way as their parents.
Obambi is our punishment for abortion. Ironic that he in all likelyhood would have been aborted had it been legal in 1961.
The new law won't stop or even slow abortions. The women will have to drive further, and a few  abortionists are gonna make a killing.

This guy can't win

George Zimmerman is back in the news. After being acquitted for ridding the world of St Skittles the thug, He next made news when his soon to be exwife claimed he assaulted her.
She kicked him to the curb, and he moved in with Samantha Scheibe who now is claiming he assaulted her!
Being that this is a he said she said ordeal, it will be difficult to know the truth. In any case, George is showing piss poor judgement.
1. You don't block some one out of their own apartment. The place is in Samantha's name, not his, so when things got heated, he should have used the exit for his own benefit. There are plenty of women in the world, and there might even be one that he can get along with close by and lonely.
Its like the story of the two frat boys walking down a country road late on a cold night. Every few minutes, the one guy would boot the other in the ass. After several of these kicks, the receiver turned and demanded to know why he was the target of aggression. Replied his companion, "Next time you tell the girls fuck or walk, make sure its our vehicle."
2. Keep the weapons in the closet during domestic disputes. Hell, if your girl is want to fight, keep them in a gun safe. Another thing would be to use your stupid phone to record the events, unless of course, you really are dumb enough to branish a gun.
I do not automatically accept that he is guilty. Police and the courts don't like to admit it, but case studies, and all the data the FBI possesses show that women are more violent then men. A lot of it has to do with hormones, but the popo still like to believe the weaker sex.
If he is guilty, I hate it for him. The Floriduh penal system is not the place he wants to be. There are too many gang bangers there who are like St. Skittles, only breathing. He may end up proving the liberals right about guns. Can't trust a liberal to own one.

Just one simple fact

Can you believe it

No official word yet, but rumor is that Obama today announced that NASA would end their muslim outreach and return to space exploration beginning with a manned flight to the sun to disprove its connection to global warming.
In total shock, a reporter from CNN blurted out, "Mr president, the temperature of the sun exceeds 5000 degrees centigrade, how will you keep the craft from burning up?"
Barry replied, "oh, thats easy, we'll have them go at night."

The Body.

Our society is like a body. No, this is not the joke about the asshole wanting to be boss. He is, but that isn't the point tonight. We the people are the life blood of our body. Everything we do is intended to keep the body functioning and make it stronger. Not every thing in our blood stream is a red blood cell, and not every thing in our society is either. Just as blood contains white blood cells to fight infections, our society has police and military to do the same thing. When a body is vibrant and healthy, it needs only a few white blood cells to keep it healthy. When the body comes under attack as we did on Dec 7, 1941, and again on 9-11-01, we need an influx of white cells, military and police to fight that infection.
Some times the body has mutations it has to fight as well. Al Capone is a prime example of that. Some times, the body does not need all those white blood cells, and they get absorbed back into the body. But some times the body gets leukemia. Then, the white cells begin attacking the red blood cells and destroy the life blood of the society.
We seem to have that problem now. We have a lot of white blood cells out there. Sure, we have suffered some pretty outrageous attacks, but now the body should be healing.
It appears to me that the outrageous attacks on citizens has reached an epidemic proportion. From the Llamas brothers in Topeka, to David Eckert in Deming, the assaults are on the rise. I picked the Llamas brothers for a reason, why? They were scum bags. They still had rights though, and getting shot by an off duty drunk cop in your own yard is about as serious a violation as any we could name. As I said, not model citizens. half of Topeka was cheering, the other half were mad. BTW, a ton of decent folks were mad, and a heck of a lot of the scum who were competition were over joyed. They got a 300K payday for their misery. That was taxpayer money.
To hear the Deming story from the police, David was on par with the Llamas. To hear Davids side, he was a choir boy or close to it. (Not really, but) he is looking for a million plus payday. I hope he gets it, and if he is a scum bag, I hope he blows it on dumb stuff. The bad part is the folks in Deming will pay through the nose for it. $190 for each household per million he receives. I don't know about you, but if poor policing cost me even a hundred bucks, I'd be for throwing the cops in a train bound for no where. Every last one of them. What you ask, even the good officers? If they are willing to sit next to a bad officer, they are not a good officer.
For the citizens of Deming, its this simple, clean house or own it. remember, the next victim could be you.

Disgusted with Mas

I linked Massad Ayoob several months ago. I'd seen him thanks to a link from The Truth About Guns and thought he was a good read. I'm having second thoughts. His snarky post earlier this week about the conduct of the police in Deming New Mexico gave me serious pause. What happen, is to me, not a joking matter.
That the police were proven wrong in their suspicions is a matter of record. David Eckert was stopped for a supposed stop sign violation. In the course of the stop. he was detained, His vehicle and his person searched for drugs, culminating in a colonoscopy conducted on an expired warrant at a hospital outside the jurisdiction of the warrant.
I strongly expressed my opinion. "Mas, I know you can’t admit it, but you are wrong. The facts PROVE beyond any shadow of doubt that you are wrong. NOTHING was found. Previous cases were dropped. Why, we do not know. There is no credible proof to back up the claim that he had previously done any such thing. We are a nation of laws, and our court system requires proof. All the evidence proves he had done nothing to deserve this.
1. The dog is not certified.
2. The warrant expired.
3. One hospital refused to participate. Possibly because they were the ones duped the first time.
4. This was not the first time this had happened.
This has a stink factor about it like a dead carp in the back seat. The officers in question, right down to muttly, should all be kicked out of law enforcement."
He replied, "
Jeremy, if you were at all familiar with my work, you’d know that I do admit when I’m wrong.
And if you had spent 40-some years in the criminal justice system, you would have learned to wait to get both sides before you judge. You would have realized that you’re operating on only one side of the story. And you would realize how little relevance the four points you raise actually have.
Judging by how many critics of cops are first-time posters here, and how many don’t grasp how things really work, I think I’ll need to do a follow-up blog post to explain.
In the meantime, JeremyR, feel free to peruse this blog for the entries from July 13, 2013 to about two months later, and see how another case turned out where folks jumped to conclusions after only hearing from the plaintiff’s side."
He does admit when he is wrong, but only when a preponderance of evidence forces him to do so.
My next comment back to him generated a shit storm.
I posted "Mas, I don’t have forty years of “expertise” as a LEO. I served only eight, and quit due to the lack of ethical standards which were placing my own life at risk. Cops won’t back up a guy who won’t lie on the stand to cover them. I’m not anti cop, I just don’t like bad ones.
As a municipal judge, I made USA today for dismissing two months worth of tickets for a small town after the officer admitted on the stand that he could not remember any of the defendants in the court room that day. It was a small town, we had court once a month. Arraignments first, followed by the trials from the previous months arraignments. In sworn testimony, the officer stated his inability to recognize the defendant, then added, that he did not recognize any one who was there.
After that statement, the city attorney asked for a brief recess, exited the building with the officer and stepped around back to talk. They chose for that location a point directly beneath the open window adjacent to my chair. The lawyer told the officer, “If you can’t remember, then lie”.
When they reentered the court room, I tossed all the cases, then admonished the liar about what I had heard. I got fired for that. Small towns want kangaroo courts. I don’t jump.
BTW, I spent most of the night reading up on this case, and am fully convinced the cops were absolutely wrong. I set high standards for law enforcement. As a Military Police sergeant, I would not tolerate misconduct. Nor as an undercover, nor as a town mayor, and certainly not as a municipal judge. There has been sufficient time for both sides to come out. This is not poker. No surprises here. This case has seen enough daylight since it began in January that all the mold is dead.
The travesty I see here is that the city of Deming’s residents will pay the price for this instead of the perpetrators, the feral officers who are not of the law. If bad policing resulted in a personal penalty for those involved, the Police would choose a higher standard.
If a swat team who kicked down the wrong door and shot dead an innocent citizen were made to face the death penalty, they would not be as apt to make those kind of life and death mistakes. Heck, if they were forced to pay a few million of personal damage claims, they might wake up and fly right.
As for the Zimmerman case, I do believe most of your readers had viewed both sides. I know I certainly had. I read about Zimmerman and martin less then a week after it happened. I for one was not fooled by the hue and cry raised by his parental failures. I’ve been reading your blog for nearly a year.
As for me, prior to 9-11-01, several of my weapons rode with local deputies as a matter of routine. Small counties in Kansas could not afford all the geegaw that now gets handed out, and they needed top gear which I happen to own." and this is what I got in return, "
  1. Dennis Says:
    MD Matt—-
Just read your post on the previous thread. It brought back memories of an incident years ago in my department.
A trainee, not long out of the academy, refused to come to the aid of his training officer during a traffic stop. The trainer was attacked, overpowered and subsequently murdered with his own weapon. The trainee retreated to the squad car, ducking down in the seat and hiding until the suspect drove away.
The trainee, after being brought up on internal charges of cowardice and facing dismissal from the force, changed his initial story of the events leading up to the death of his training officer. After hiring counsel, his new version was that the training officer was a vulgar, verbally abusive person who he could just not bring himself to help or come to the aid of.
This flew in the face of everyone who knew the training officer. The veteran officer was well known for his even temper, being everyone’s friend on and off duty. People from all walks of life lined up to come to the defense of this fine man’s reputation, whose memory was being sullied by a self serving ex-M.P. from Kansas who had failed his evaluations from his previous field training officers, and placed with the murdered officer as a last attempt to save the city’s investment in him.
But the damage was already done. With the only surviving witnesses being the murderer, his friends, and the coward who watched his partner be murdered, the murderer was found not guilty and the coward became the darling of the media, as the murderer was African-American and the murdered officer and the coward were white. Without any living witnesses to contradict the murderer’s and the cowards story, the department dropped the internal charges against him.
When nobody would work with the coward or cover him, he went to the press bemoaning how badly he was being treated, got one more story about his being shunned for refusing to lie in court about what had happened that day, then resigned and returned to Kansas.
As I recall, he filed suit against the city, blaming them for his inability to find work in law enforcement, but the report in the papers mentioned he had found part time employment as a municipal court judge in his home town.
You haven’t run across this guy have you?"
He followed it with this, "
    1. Dennis Says:
      M.D. Matt,
My apologies. My post was actually intended for JeremyR."

I replied, " Mas, I just read the trash posted by Dennis. That you allow such conduct from America’s supposed finest shows us what you and they are. If you care to offer an apology, you know how to find me.
I served 21 years in the United States Army and ended my career as a commissioned officer. That you let Dennis put up such trash is beyond contemptible.
BTW Dennis, I’m not from Kansas. This is where I was last stationed, this is where I retired. Maybe you were one of the shit bags from the 977th who got reassigned but were not court martialed? You sound like one them.
Thank you for confirming that those who comment here and have little trust for the police are not wrong in their assessment. I’ve fired better men than you."
I got this back from Mas, "Don’t hold your breath on the apology, JeremyR. If you fired men for looking at both sides of an issue, it says more negative about you than it does about them, or about anyone posting here."
My reply back is, "Dennis, this is just my opinion, I think you are too stupid to see how your slander aimed at me here reflects on you, your department, and officers in general.
Instead of a thought out defense of the conduct of those officers in Deming, you chose to post a fabrication worthy of Saul Alinsky. Are you proud? In the morning, will you go to work and show your chief how you belittled me? Would he be proud?
Is this how you conduct yourself on the job? Do you go into court and act the same way? Dogs don’t meow when they are off leash. A man (that’s a compliment here) who would lie in a semi anonymous forum would also lie in court if he thought he could get away with it. Do you conduct yourself at work the same way? Are you proud of it?
At the first Kansas Municipal judges conference I attended, several of the judges were sitting at a table behind me discussing an occurrence that happened at the previous judicial conference. Two of them had engaged in a drag race in the early hours through a residential neighborhood. The local judge had pulled strings with the PD there to cover over what happened. They were proud of what the did. It sure lowered my esteem for them especially since one of the men sitting there laughing it up was the man who administered the Municipal judges exam to me the month before.
I can tell you, I was not proud of them, and I don’t think the citizens of their respective cities would have been proud either.
“We enforce the law, we don’t uphold it” Nice motto… If you reign in Russia.
" and this, "So Mas, explain to me how his tall tail, the 19th comment down is looking at both sides of this issue? His comment five above my reply confirms he was aiming his trash at me. Yup, fabricating a story and calling me a coward is looking at both sides of the issue. Great call. I am humbled. Lots of facts there. Tons of em."
I do not put a lot of my personal information out there. I often feel like I publish too much about myself. In this case, Dennis, a commenter, and purported cop, instead of arguing facts  chose to attack me personally. This is our law enforcement, and this is how a good blogger conducted himself. I hope Massad and Dennis are proud. Are you? Knowing that your police act like this, do you feel better about them and the possibility they might think you were smuggling drugs?
I hat to see David Eckert get millions. Not that he does not deserve compensation for what happened, but because the men who did this deed, the officers of Deming, will not be the one who pay it, it will be the citizens who had nothing to do with this, and those officers will walk away untouched.
I have not decided whether to delist Mas. I am leaning toward it. It will depend on his reply to my comments.
The articles in question are here, and here.

Strange

This morning as I was headed into town, I saw a small crowd gathered at the local animal hospital. Thinking they might be having a special on vaccinations or sterilizations, I stopped to see what was going on.
Turns out it was a group of local liberals who took a little time to stop and thank a Vet.

Thank you veterans for your service and sacrifice. It is you, not the politician or the teacher that has made America great. May GOD bless each of you for your selfless service.

More bull from Follywood

Being an actor is tough. Being a good one might very well be impossible, even for the star of Mission Impossible the redux. Tom Cruise thinks his "job" is as hard as serving in Afghanistan. Bad news for you dirt bag, you have not got a clue. Just because you have played a navy aviator does not get you even into the realm.
Once upon a time, we had actors who had served in the military, men who knew what duty honor country meant. Cruise is not one of them. We once had Lee Marvin who was wounded on Siapan. We had Jimmy Stewart, and a heck of a lot more. This crew today are not fit to slither in the shadows of those men.
So Tom, do what yo udo best. Go back to imitating the pResident and read the script. When you go off script, you sound as dumb as he does.

Then and Now

I read the other day about Tami Erin and her latest escapades. I couldn't help but make comparison to my youth when Julie Andrews was the big wholesome star, the squeaky clean innocent girl whom every one adored. When, in 1981, she starred in S.O.B. and did a nude scene, she received death threats. Many of her fans turned on her, and her career took a nose dive.
Today we have Tami making her come back in porn. Lets just call her Peepee Schlong Sucking.  By now, you all know how I feel about entertainment types who turn into antiheros.  I have absolutely no respect for Miley Cyrus, or any actor or actress who made a name for themself as a star appealing to children, then went over. Hell, I don't much care for Hollywood types period.
Frankly, if Tami had not been Pipi Longstocking, no one would be looking at her porno. There is not much demand for 39 year old wash outs, even if they manage to keep their body half way fit. Columbia studios should demand a cut from her porn earnings. With out them, she would be paying out to get people to look.
These are the people modern society want our kids to worship. From Incognito to Erin, they are a waste of flesh.
Our real heros are the men and women who put on the uniform of our Military. Our kids are staring mouth agape at trash, and most have no clue about the men and women who keep our country safe. Kids today can rattle off the starting line up of the Bears, Redskins, or Raiders, know the cast of TV crap like The Big Bang Theory, yet would be hard pressed to name one Medal of Honor winner, or even name some one from their neighborhood who serves in our armed forces.
Lets face facts. We. Are. Screwed. (and you can bet everyone of these assholes our kids worship is a communist. err democrat.)

This is a role model?

In my book, Richie Incognito is anything but. I have ranted many a time about the poor examples set by many athletes. These guys are people whom kids look up to, that is what makes this all the worse. If this was two guys working at the neighborhood tire store, I'd give a shit less. Instead, these are men who are on national TV every week for months. Guys whose names are on the lips of many ten year olds. Kids dream of a chance to play in the big leagues. They don't dream of becoming gutter trash.
I choose teams based in large part, on the character of the players. Sure, every team has its share of losers, and for that, I don't send them my money. Its a fun way to kill an afternoon, especially now when 3/4ths of the time I don't feel like doing jack shit.
When the NFL was looking at Incognito, several teams, according to the story, listed him as do not draft because they saw the character issues in him. The NFL needs to raise their standards. Men like Incognito, Mike Prick err Vick, and quite a few others Should not be allowed on the field except as janitorial staff. The NFL should have an evaluation session on all potential players, and those with convictions for serious offenses should be barred. Guys who assault women, use drugs, drink excessively, rob, steal, the list goes on, should not be allowed into the draft, or onto the field. Every potential pick should be screened. You want to be on national television? You better be worth putting on then.
Have a vote, if a coach gives a down vote, let the player know. Not necessarily the name of the coach, but the reason, if they are passed on. Same goes for players who start out clean and turn into shit heads. Ben Rottenberger should have gotten a life time ban, not a short suspension. Assaulting a woman should have earned him a career on the back of a garbage truck, or in it.
As for Richie, the NFL should do a thorough investigation.  If the facts show he intimidated Martin, he should be thrown out of the league, and he should be made to repay his earnings from the moment of his first infraction to the end. Every dime of it.
If you want to be a hero to my grand kids, you better be a good one. this generation is fucked up enough as it is thanks to abortion, divorce, and liberals in Washington. They don't need another hero who isn't.
Oh, and all the schools who want to ban tee shirts because of slogans? Ban Incognito jerseys, then we'll talk.

Almost meaningless

The end of daylight savings time approaches for another year. Time to figure out to program the microwave and the Alarm clock. The DVD player will just have to keep flashing 12:00 for another half year, I lost the manual.
I see this as an exercise in stupidity. The cows don't own watches, so the farmers are off on their own schedule again. An archaic ritual that needs to hit the dust bin of history with out mention in the text books.
Is there a benefit? any benefit from this? Just one, the Minnesota Vikings will have an extra hour of rest before their loss on Sunday.
