Yondering

Back in about 1993, I was returning from Topeka with my brother-in-law. We were in his Ford truck, and it was a driving rain storm. We had reached an are that even now is a cell phone dead zone, when we saw a Chevy truck stalled on the opposite side.
Jim swung a U-turn and pulled up behind the pickup. The drive got out, and as he was walking back to us, we noticed a bumper sticker in his rear window that read "I'd rather push a Chevy than drive  Ford".
Jim cracked his window, said "have fun pushing your Chevy", backed up and drove away.
After hearing that story, his older sister, not my ex-wife, got him a ball cap that read "Fiends don't let Friend drive Fords".
