Frank Buckles, America's last WW1 vet has passed away at the age of 110. Frank lied about his age to get into the military, enlisting at the age of 16.
The last torch bearer suffered at the hands of the Japanese in WW2 as a civilian POW in the Philippines.
In spite of all his efforts, Buckles did not see combat. he was a brave man none the less. He tried to get there, and spent his years fighting for those who did and died.
Burial at Arlington is the least we can do for this fine man who spent the last years fo his life advocating for the men who fought the war to end all wars. Goodbye Frank. Recieve now the reward our Lord has prepared for you in heaven.
To quote the late Bob Grant: It's sick and getting sicker!
