Nothing to dance about in Lead

Residents of the town of Lead put a referendum on the ballot on whether to allow nude dancing at bars in the town. Lead has been in an economic slump since the Homestake Mine closed. Times are hard, yet the residents saw fit to avoid the trappings of luring money to town in the form of adult entertainment. I feel sorry for the girls who dance. For many of them it is a last ditch effort to support themselves and often a child. I've said it before and I'll say it again, We need to offer solutions for them so they are not forced to do this. The welfare state is not an answer. All it does is breeds vermin, leeches on society, and it offers no chance for betterment.
