Jon Kyl is stepping down from his position to fill the seat vacated by the death of McStain. Kyl was a good man, and pledged only one term. Governor Ducey is appointing Martha McSally to replace him. McSally lost in November to Krysten Sinema largely because she is not a true conservative.
Arizonians learned the hard way from Flake. It is easier to replace a leftist with a true conservative than it is to replace a RINO with a true conservative. Primary elections are easier to control than general elections. That is why California did away with partisan primaries and went to one where they can block out conservative voices.
McInsane used the primary process to maintain his hold on power. Since only registered republicans get to vote in them, the voices of libertarians, constitutionalists, and unaffiliated voters is never heard.
I'm a Constitutionalist, but registered republican so my vote can be heard.
Sundance at the treehouse pointed out a lot of the problems with McSally. His research is sound, his council wise. Ducey just gave America a doosy. I see her as being another Flake. Hope I'm wrong, the Senate count is too close to chance.
