Grandma needs justice

Back during the Barry Soetoro error era, a grandmother from the Dominican republic was visiting the United States. Fior Pichardo de Veloz was apparently unaware she had an outstanding drug warrant, and was arrested. No big deal, or at least it shouldn't be, but during processing, this grandmother got labeled as transgendered and sent to a men's lock up. Now grandma, who is a lawyer, is suing for her mistreatment.
I do not have a lot of sympathy for drug users or smugglers. Placing a woman in a holding cell with men is pure cruel no matter how bad she might have offended.
We have a lot of crazy rules today for processing prisoners thanks to gender dysphoria and the subsequent mutilation that is happening to them. In my humble opinion, if there is ever any reason to doubt a person's sex, do a simple DNA swab and decide it that way.
Yes, you will have some people who are confused about their identity getting harassed, but it is better than sticking a body containing breasts and testicles in with the gals.
