What a race

The Non Athletic Sport Centered Arround Rednecks is off and running. Sort of. After the first posponement in Daytona history, the race went wild. I have not watched a NASCAR event in several years, so this one was a great one to get back into it. A Monday race with a Tuesday finish.
Montoya is lucky to be alive after his fireball wreck that shut the race down for two hours. That he walked away basicly unhurt speaks volumes about all the safety tech that goes into every one of those races.
Jr extended his winless streak to 130 races. I thought this was going to be his race. He came up a close second.
So the season is under way for NASCAR fans. February has been a tough month for those who didn't tyvo some football games. rednecks every where breathe a sigh of relief.
